A Practical Path
to eQMS Go-Live
Start with the way your quality processes should work, then move through configuration, data preparation, pilot testing, training, and a controlled go-live.
Start with the process, not the screen.
We begin with the quality work your team performs today: who owns it, what decisions are made, which records matter, and where the current process creates friction.
Together, we define a first-release boundary, configure the approved workflow, prepare the right data, and test it with the people who will use it. New to the distinction? Read what a QMS is and how a QMS differs from an eQMS.
The Implementation Journey
The exact sequence depends on your scope and readiness. These six stages keep responsibilities and acceptance evidence visible from the first workshop through go-live.
1. Discovery and Scope
Agree on the processes, locations, owners, risks, success measures, and boundaries for the first release.
2. Process Mapping
Map triggers, roles, decisions, required evidence, exceptions, approvals, and related quality records.
3. Configuration
Translate the approved process into forms, fields, workflows, permissions, notifications, and useful reporting.
4. Data Preparation
Clean reference data and active records, define the archive boundary, run a trial migration, and reconcile the result.
5. Pilot and Acceptance
Test normal work and difficult exceptions with representative users, then resolve priority findings before release.
6. Training and Go-Live
Train each role using realistic work, agree on cutover and support, and monitor how the process performs after launch.
