Challenge
Dedicated Computing has experienced multiple eQMS transitions, but continued to face structural limitations.
Quality processes were fragmented across three or more systems, with document control, training, and Corrective Action Management managed separately. This created inefficiencies, duplication, and a lack of end-to-end visibility.
Training management was particularly challenging. There was no centralized visibility into assigned or overdue training, meaning the quality team had to manually chase employees across the organization. Accountability sat with a small number of individuals rather than being distributed across managers.
Document control processes were also incomplete. While documents were stored in SharePoint, there was no fully integrated workflow covering approvals, revisions, traceability, and e-signatures.
Previous systems did not fully align with Dedicated Computing's specific requirements and ways of working:
- Arena proved cost-prohibitive over time
- QT9 lacked the flexibility needed to adapt to their processes

Trackmedium provided a strong out-of-the-box foundation, while still allowing the team to configure workflows to their exact requirements without technical dependency. This balance avoided both extremes the company had previously evaluated; rigid systems on one side, and fully DIY platforms on the other.
