The Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) module offered by Trackmedium QMS, provides you with the ability to store a repository of safety data sheets for hazardous materials used at your company allowing you to easily integrate chemical property information into your EHS management strategy.

By maintaining the Safety Data Sheets in Trackmedium QMS's centralized software, you ensure that you have strategically provided information on how workers can perform their responsibilities safely while interacting with hazardous materials. As a document in Trackmedium QMS, a completed SDS can serve as evidence of due diligence.

  • Centralize Chemical Information

    Store and manage all relevant information on chemicals including the physical and chemical properties of the product, toxicity, flash point, procedures for spills and leaks, first aid, storage guidelines, and exposure control.

  • Connected to Training Management

    Promote awareness of hazards associated with chemicals and ensure that all workers are properly trained to understand the SDS so that these workers can safely perform their duties.

  • Automated Revision Control

    Once the new revision of an SDS becomes effective, access to the prior revision is restricted ensuring that only the latest approved versions of SDSs are being accessed and used across your company. Additionally, revision history shows information about every change including reason for change, approval date, approver, and the approver's signature.

  • Scheduled Regular Reviews

    Based on a pre-defined review frequency, SDS Owners will be automatically notified to review SDSs to determine whether these sheets are still effective or need to be modified.

  • Manage Changes to SDSs

    Manage and collaborate with users on requests for changing or obsoleting an SDS within the software.

  • Exceed Compliance Requirements

    Facilitate compliance with global regulations and industry standards including Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) by maintaining well-documented data for regulated chemicals.
